Job brief

We are looking for a qualified DevOps Engineer to join our team. The right candidate will hold strong skills in analysing production errors and will help define and create tools that help mitigate system problems.

The DevOps engineer is responsible for maintaining and improving our platform operating systems. You will report to the CTO and work closely with the development team to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Ultimately, you should be able to maintain functional and stable web platforms to meet our company’s needs.


  • Apply cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
  • Implement automation tools and frameworks.
  • Analyse code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects.
  • Continuously tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
  • Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
  • Optimise the company’s computing architecture.
  • Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
  • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation.


  • Web development experience (Python, JavaScript)
  • Excellent attention to detail & problem solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux operating system (with systemd and Docker)
  • Excellent scripting capabilities (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of database tuning and monitoring (PostgreSQL)

Desirable skills

  • Degree in computer science or engineering
  • Strong skill in software automation systems (selenium)
  • Knowledge of web server tuning and monitoring
  • Knowledge of web proxying and load-balancing
  • Knowledge of tuning task queues
  • Knowledge of log aggregation
